Kurt Wieting is a Manhattan based pianist and singer /songwriter. For nearly a decade Kurt performed at The Carlyle Hotel's famed Bemelman's Bar, where he earned a large following and high praise from the New York press. Awarded the prestigious 'Bistro Award' from Backstage Magazine as 'Best Singer/Pianist,' Kurt most recently concluded a six year engagement at The Ritz Carlton where he played solo instrumentals of jazz standards and selections gleaned from 'The American Songbook.' His extensive repertoire ranges from Gershwin and Porter to the Beatles through today's contemporary 'standards.' Currently Kurt Wieting can be seen at the world renown St. Regis Hotel on Fifth Avenue.

As soloist and leader of his quartet and trio, Kurt has entertained some of New York's most exclusive and high profile clientele. In addition, Kurt Wieting has had his award winning compositions featured on national television, stage and recordings.
